leased our 190 acres 2003, they did seismic with dynamite 2004, and drilled a vertical well to the TRB about a mile from us. Well (pond 1) plugged after an offset well drilled (pond 1a). We received a lease release in 2006. Chesapeake has land on 3 1/2 sides of us leased some as late as 2008.

Just heard from Fortuna, they are not leasing until NY DEC starts issuing drilling permits. Previously, Chesapeake told me that they are not leasing until things sort themselves out in NY.
