Kilgour, Are you in the Delaware River Basin like many others of us in the Hancock area?

Mason Dixon/CHK called to day, Hancock area offered $1000/12.5%/5yrs. Also mentioned CI was available. Told him I'll take the NPO on 300 acres for what their offering.

Guess their getting ready for the next gasicane to happen shortly. Only looking in the Hancock area for now. Guess they figure some people might be panicing and can pick up some cheap leases. .

He used the tactic, you sign now you get some money because you don't know what the state is doing you could end up with nothing. I told him I would still have my land and my gas.

FYI, the US Constitution guarantees private property may not be taken for public (state, NYC ) purposes with out compensation. From West firm Law.

New york State is comprised of 17 watersheds each one is as important as the other. If NYC gets their way which we all hope they do not, a class action suit should be filed. Lets hope it never gets to this point. The drilling companies will use a closed loop system in all senitive areas.

I was able to find my answeron the Deleware County website, we have since backed out of the property, to close to the Watershed, but thanks for the info

I am interested in purchasing a pice of property in Masonville and I am trying to find out how far from the Watershed this particuliar property is. I understand that there will be a 3 mile buffer arounf the Watershed, would anyone know how I go about finding out how far this parcel would be from that area? I have called the Dept that handles the Watershed and they were less than helpful.
