Confused about the capability of Delaware River Basic Commission (DRBC) and NY Department of Environmental Conservation (NYDEC) to delay or prevent fracking.  Wells already in PA are within 3 miles of the Delaware, well within DRBC.  The Millenium pipe runs within a mile of the Del on the NY side.  Premiums will presumably be offered on sites within 20m. of the pipe.  Who or what can stop NY drilling within the DRBC zone?

I was told they are also canvassing Sands Creek rd area so you should be contacted. He said they are only interested in Hancock area right now and a small area of Sullivan county.
