I few weeks back Holland Land Services were taking leases at Southeastern Equip. Training Center for Shell. They were taking walk-ins and were having people interested in leasing sign a information form and a land agent was supposed to contact you about the lease. My question is has anyone heard from anyone at Holland? I know a lot of people signed a lease that were in the original group that week but was just curious about the other people that signed the information form.

I have a phone number you can call 2qik2c, talked with a couple landmen a month ago, i guess 1 of them no longer works there but think the other 1 still does. They was working on a letter of intent for me and my neighbor to sign once our other lease is up, we'll see how that goes
Thanks Jon,
I also signed with Gulfport but had contact with Jeanette while making my decision, this is the same offer I believe her group was made. They are in Madison Township. My sister was supposed to get some paperwork mailed out and then a draft would be sent to their bank, which is similar to the Holland process. Just wanted to be careful, too many scammers out there, especially around the holidays. Thanks for all the replies, Merry Christmas to all !

Anyone get a deposit into their bank account yet from Holland/Shell??
I have not, nor have I heard of anyone yet receiving the upfront bonus.
Any chance any one would have a copy of the Shell lease? Would like to compare it to Graham and Graham Landowner groups lease. Thanks
david I have one , havent signed yet not sure what to do. I live in stark county have 160 acres near salt fork state park kind of out of loop
Just a heads up... From what I have been hearing from some landowners... The lease that shell is offering through Holland now has some differences from the one that they signed with the large group back in October. I have not seen either of them, this is just what I have been told, but thought I would through it out there. May be worth trying to view one of the ones they have now, as well as one of the ones from the October signing if anyone from that signing is willing & able to share the lease in its entirety...
The landowner lease was for the initial group and walk-ins. I have not seen the Shell lease being offered to Guernsey County Landowners now I did hear it was Shell's company lease, which I am sure is nothing like the landowner lease. Would always be prudent to have a lease checked with legal before you sign and proper addendums in place.
I have seen the lease and met the guy at Theo's. What they are offering is a one page document, with no land owner protections. I ask for the other one that everyone signed, he says he cannot do that, he indicated it was colition. We created out own lease, but not being a lawyer, did not feel safe singing on with them, they did agree to the terms we wanted, but the guy was in such a hurry to have us sign, that made us nervouse so we where afraid we missed something. We are going with eastland energy instead. Also, shell lease, no pad fee, rolaties with many deductions. It seems to me, they do not have enough acres, that they just wanted to sell to another company for profit.
Are you saying that Shell doesn't have enough acres to develop? Or that Eastland doesn't? I believe that Shell has quite a large acreage position in Gue. Co. as long as they make good on the payments for the landowners that signed with them. Their Oct. signing was probably one of the largest so far in the county from what I have heard.
i have a lease from shell just recieved two weeks ago iwould like to compare but i dont have a scanner. this lease is 8 pages long . i live in stark county and we were in a group for property owned here. lease is similar except per acre and royalties are much higher with shell lease and in stark we got some say on location

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
