Any landowners meetings coming up for beginning of November?
I was given the name of a Weirton attorney, Jeff Rokisky, as an attorney with some experience in this area. Called him, and got an assistant who called back. He talked at length to me and is supposed to be sending me some information about a group they have formed. Apparently, they are trying to get a large group together to negotiate a better deal. Also mentioned a meeting at Mountaineer coming up soon.
I dealt my property, and I'm satisfied with the results.
I wish everyone the best of luck!
Take care!

Jim,
What is the contact at Penn Gaslands and phone number? I'm thinking we should be able to get as close to $5000 per acre as possible. However, more importantly, we need everyone to get GROSS ROYALTY--- VALUE OF GAS AT THE WELLHEAD, EVEN IF IT'S 15%... WE MAY NEVER SEE MUCH OF ANYTHING IN ROYALTY PAYMENTS WITH THE CURRENT NET, POST PRODUCTION COSTS IN THE LEASE!!!
***Hess paid over $8800 per acre to acquire acreage just across the Ohio river per Hess press release on 9/9/11*** Hess paid Marquette Exploration $175 million to acquire 85,000 net acres in Jefferson, Harrison and Belmont Counties!!!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
