I was given the name of a Weirton attorney, Jeff Rokisky, as an attorney with  some experience in this area.  Called him, and got an assistant who called back.  He talked at length to me and is supposed to be sending me some information about a group they have formed.  Apparently, they are trying to get a large group together to negotiate a better deal.  Also mentioned a meeting at Mountaineer coming up soon.

i live in clay dist. is there any land owner meetings comming up that to talk about all of this ,kenyon is supossed to be stoping by my place in a week to go over prices i have 20 ac. dont know much about all of this need info and  name of a good attorney in this area who knows this stuff

Jefferson County now has $4850 per acre with 19% GROSS ROYALTY on the table per their forum!

As of Wednesday, the offer from CHK to lease land in Harrison County is $5000 per acre and 20% royalty per the Harrison County forum.  Brooke County got $5000 per acre from CHK as well since last winter.  Hancock County should get the SAME!! KEEP your neighbors INFORMED!

What is the contact at Penn Gaslands and phone number?  I'm thinking we should be able to get as close to $5000 per acre as possible.  However, more importantly, we need everyone to get GROSS ROYALTY--- VALUE OF GAS AT THE WELLHEAD, EVEN IF IT'S 15%... WE MAY NEVER SEE MUCH OF ANYTHING IN ROYALTY PAYMENTS WITH THE CURRENT NET, POST PRODUCTION COSTS IN THE LEASE!!!

Penn Gaslands Consulting   is a firm that will work for the a land owners group for 10% of the bonus.  Several land owners had a meeting last nite and learned alot! about this process, like kenyon most likely is getting $5000 and 20% an acre and keeps what ever they get u in under that! We are trying to organize a mineral rights owners meeting SOON I keep this site posted.   Penn Gas thought 4000-4500 and 19.25%  sounded right !
