Mr. Meyer -

I would be interested in a copy of that agreement.

I am curious how Trey Peterson was chosen -- I do not find any info. indicating that he has expertise in oil & gas drilling contracts - please correct me if I am wrong. My contact at the Ohio EPA indicated that Attny. Bill Williams from Canton has experience in such matters -- are you familiar with his law firm? -- -Brian

the attourney for the  group is Trey Peterson this is the fourth meeting of tis group and I believe if things go well they may be joining with another group and have about 25 thousand acres to negotiat with and will be contacting several buyers. I can e-mail copies of the agreement   thanks  Bill

Mr. Meyer, Who is the attorney for group 1?  What is "group 1". Is this the 1st attempt to get an organized offer  from DPS Penn for Jefferson County? Is that what is meant by "group 1"?

Aaron,
Yes, they called us and made the offer, they said they had signed with two adjoining farms.
I contacted our DPS Penn representative we signed with and asked him if they were legit he checked and called back. He said they did sign with two neighbors, and he called them Wellington Range Resource.

group 1 meeting Dec. 21st 2:00P.M. and 6:00P.M. Florian Hall Wintersville no cost to join and this is the last meeting before the negotiations begin . you can opt out of the group at any time . join and let the attourneys do the negotiating there is no charges until you sign the lease. doesnt make any difference how much land you own.

Chuck, Did you get contacted by Range Resources? I've never heard of them, let alone been contacted by them! Hmmmm, that's pretty enticing.

An Attorney may be even a bigger gamble.
Have you noticed all the law firm advertisement out there right now?
If you can establish a one time fee with your Attorney that would be great, but don't let him set himself up for part of your proceeds for life.
You can draft up as many wishes as you want and submit it to your landman, he will take it to the Company and they will draft an addendum you both can work from.
