"I would think so, but it seems that they usually have information (permits, maps, production numbers) floating around their office for a while before their staff has time to get into the database and it shows up online."

"That's just the way it is and has been in Ohio.  Because of paying taxes, they have to reveal production numbers at that time each year."

"All the Ohio wells will have to release their numbers for state tax purposes the end of March 2012."

Hey William,

Both offers were from Avalanche.  Both were for the same amount - $250/acre - 12.5%  5-year term.  The first offer came around last April.  The other offer came a month or so after the first offered expired.

 I never responded to the offer(s).

William, Our land is in the southeast section of Monroe County.  I put this question up for discussion (see Leasing Strategy) and just received a good response.  You might want to take a look.  Sounds like you are doing pretty well, though.

William, Did Shaleguy respond to your particular situation (i.e., being sandwiched between two leased properties and approaching a company with a deal)?  I have a similar situation and have wondered about the idea of approaching the company that has leased surrounding properties.
