Hi, I live in NJ but own 64 acres in Factoryville (Wyoming County)  Back in 08 I recieved an initial offer from Chesapeake of 1500, 15% , 7 yrs.   We declined.  About 8 mo's later we were offered 2350, 15%, 5yrs.  We declined again.  I just spoke with CE and they said "there is no competition buying in Wyoming Co., gas has gone down in $$$, and the econonmy is bad.  BUT that could change at any time.  But they are NOT leaseing with ANY Wyoming Co land owners now ???  I  was reading they are trying to by ANY Wyoming lots they can.  Is there a good group worth joining??  I searched a little and most are not taking anyone new.  Any suggestions??  Thanks

Your land may be close enough to my small group that we could include you. Send me a message with your land location and I will be able to say for sure.

True, no one is ACTIVELY grabbing up land like they were before, but some companies are still taking the right acreage if it is in their area.

Things will change constantly and at any time. The biggest obstacle now is low natural gas prices, the bad economy, and lack of pipeline and infrastructure in this area. But the pipeline is being addressed and will take care of us.

Your best bet is to be part of a group so that when a company is ready to take that group you don't miss the boat. My opinion, anyway.
