I've got 98 acres 1 mile from Reliance.  Can you say who the broker is please?  I am wondering if the horizontal line is reaching there?

Just heard from a broker regarding the Reliance well near Goshen Road.  I have 1 acre in a subdivision near the well and they informally offered me $1000 and 12.5% over the phone (wants to meet in person with us).  Is it even worth my time to do this with one acre?  I asked the broker and he said they would probably be pulling gas from under us anyway, so we might as well take advantage.  Thoughts?

I live on the Halleck Road in Monongalia County and have been approached about leasing my property.  The offer I was made was $1000.00 per acre and royalties of 12.5%.  I was wondering if anyone else had been approached and if so what kind of offers they were receiving.  Any input would be appreciated.

chesapeake has a well, the Reliance Minerals 3H, 6H, 8H,10 Well, on the map it looks like the unit probably 600 or so acres runs north east of Triune Fire Dept up to Clinton Furnace Rd, they are still leasing a lot in this area, so they will be building more units and drilling more it is looking good for people in this spot, if you have not leased , they will probably will be calling you. the offers i heard last year was $1000 & 15%with deductions,  anyone hears of an offer let us know.

According to PA state records Chief has a site in Gilmore Township (north of Daybrook a few miles into PA.) I believe it is the only one in that area. I also think it may be representative of what might be found the areas to it's south (Daybrook). You can check under PA Dept. of Oil and Gas Production Report.  (Two entries - 1H and 2H - in Greene County. They are the only permitted wells shown for Gilmore Township. Each has about 500,000Mcf reported for 2010 2nd half. I'm guessing production started in the 2nd half. Double check this, because this is all new to me.)

 

My aunt has a fractional share of rights near Daybrook. I'd be interested in hearing a rough idea of what kind of offers are being made in that area.

I have leased land in Western Monongalia County, near Daybrook. Is there any new drilling activity nearby besides Bunner's ridge described in earlier comments?

Thought I'd forward this on... The Center for Healthy Environments and Communities (CHEC) of the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health is hosting a FracTracker training on Monday, October 25, 2010 in Morgantown, WV.

During this training, CHEC will introduce participants to FracTracker, a combination of an interactive blog (http://fractracker.org) and the DataTool (http://data.fractracker.org), that is serving as a vital data-sharing tool in the Marcellus Shale play and beyond.

yeah it is interesting to get other info. to piece things together, but you can never tell for sure about any of these companies till you actually see it. ive learned that mutch. chesapeake has leased a lot in battelle District also clay district, Statler run area if i hear anything of interest i will pass it along...

I have been in contact with Chesapeake on some western Mon County acreage. However, they don't seem particularly interested in it. I'll let you know if something comes of it.

Thanks for your comment. I just found out my brother has a few acres on Halleck Road. He thinks he has O&G rights. I better prod him to check it out. Of course, if he hasn't been contacted; he probably doesn't have the rights.
