I own 42 acres in Noble County. Belden and Blake is offering 20 dollars per acre and a very unfriendly to the landowner lease. Of course they act like they are doing you a very big favor but also point out that they no longer offer free gas to the dwelling but are willing to pay what the gas is worth at the time. I joined this site to educate myself and hopefully join up with other Noble County land owners in hopes that "fair" deals are negotiated and the land owner does not sign away gas and oil rights that have the potential to really help out a hard hit economic area. I am interested in hearing from others and look forward to any neighborly advice.

What township are you in?
My property lies in two parcels side by side one in  Elk and one in Jefferson townships.
George just set tight for now. DON'T SIGN A THING

I have 18 acres near Senecaville. It all on a wooded hill, but is surrounded by farmland. I wonder if that is enough acreage for leasing?

I supposed I should talk to the neighbors to see what, if anything, they are doing.
