All I can say, Ryan, is that whoever wrote that article has NO idea what he's talking about!  The Logan well permit is CLEARLY listed on the ODNR website - maybe the article's author doesn't know that the Logan well is permitted to the layer UNDER the Utica.  He doesn't see "Utica" or "Marcellus" in the permit listing, so thinks no permits for the Utica have been issued in Trumbull County...
