I had an agent stop by my farm last night who is trying to map out a route for a 16 inch pipleline from the Brugler well that will go south and eventually end up in Petersburg.  He said the project wouldn't start until next year.  The name of the company contracted by Halcon to install the pipeline is Polaris Energy Services LLC.  The agent was contracted by Polaris and his company is Two Rivers Title Inc.

He didn't show me the full route of the pipeline, so I'm not sure where the line will go after it crosses over the south end of our property. He did mention about going through Yankee Lake and a golf course.  The agent didn't present an agreement for us to review.  He said he was trying to feel everyone out first to see where they can put the pipeline through.  Our location is Plan B, because he had already approached another landowner to the west of us and they told him no because he didn't want them to ruin the drainage tile in his fields.

Just wanted to pass this information along in case you live in the Hartford and Brookfield areas. We found out the agent talked to our neighbor after meeting with us last night. I'm sure I won't surprise anyone who frequents this site when I say this, but we were told one story about what the company could do as far as location of the pipeline versus what our neighbor was told.

One other point to pass along, the agent told me Halcon would not do a separate agreement for each individual pipeline.  Each easement agreement will be at a minimum for two pipelines. Again, we were not presented with an actual agreement and this was just a preliminary discussion.

Steven,

Thanks for the info.  Not many folks posting here any more.  Heresay is mostly what i get.  Neighbor has a pipeline going in running East - West.  Word was that a line would run from the Brugler well up north across storyland and connect to it.  Don't know for sure.  Don't sign anything relating to a pipeline ROW without research, my friend.  Research....Pipeline ROW has the potential of "forever".  Don't sign it away lighty.  I have learned a lot in the past year and would gladly share what I know with a neighbor for free.  friend me with a message if you like.  Have a good night!

MJ,

I farm the property in Burghill where the pipeline is going through west of 7. The landowner told me the same thing regarding where that pipeline was going to.  Fortunately, they went through the woods and not through his fields.  They did put a nice drive to get back to the fields, so it's not all bad.

Work is ongoing behind Storyland tree farm.  Brugler well will be tied into the east-west line by us.  Drove by today - woods are cleared and equipment is in place.  Not sure about what you were told about a southernly pipeline - future? time will tell.  Good luck to us all!  And by the way Steven - Halcon - B/G Pipelines or whoever wants to use your land will say whatever to get a pipeline where they want it - Believe me my friend!  NONE of thses people are landowner friendly up front.  Pipeline ROW's are Forever!
