I must tell you all that this very day I was negativley advised about Magnum by my attorney.  You can google them to see court actions.

Be very careful and seek legal advice on any negotiations.

Rick Weese' father owns the land that the 5 acre platform is proposed.

The attached illustration is from a Magnum Hunter Resources Corp presentation from Feb 2011. I took the liberty to add the green highlights. I think the town of Tyler is in the green oval, the Weese Hunter well pad with 2 horizontals running to the southeast is bottom - left center and a (proposed?) 5 acre well pad with 5 horizontals running northwest nearly to MIC is located bottom - right center. Does anyone know who owns this farm in the big bend of McElroy Cr?

We have as yet unleased mineral rights in Ellsworth tax district. What is your interest, JRM?

GRRREAT NEWS! The amount of money paid for O&G leases in Tyler County should be taking a giant leap. Read the article in this link: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Magnum-Hunter-Resources-iw-101815754....   First day production of 7MMcf (7,000,000 cubic feet). The first months production could be in the neighborhood of 100,000,000 cf. Someone speculated that the value of this wet gas is about $7.00 per 1000 cubic feet. The first months production would sell for about $700,000. 12%, 15% or 18% royalty would be a sizable chunk of change. Please check my math, I think it is correct but I may have screwed up the decimal point. This could be one of the greatest Christmas presents we could ever hope for.

Here is some news from Magnum Hunter. I may be overly optimistic, but if you read between the lines this could be very good news for Tyler Co mineral owners. Most of Magnum Hunters' oil and gas lease holdings are in the Tyler/Pleasants County area. Therefore, this news release indicating "highly liquids rich, in the 1,200 Btu to 1,400 Btu range" must be referring to our gas..http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/Magnum-Hunter-Resources-Commits-Purchase-200-MMcf-per-Day-Capacity-Cryogenic-Natural-NYSE-Amex-MHR-1370903.htm

The Weese Hunter wells 1001 and 1002 were scheduled for completion at the end of November. I haven't seen any press releases, has anyone heard any rumors on what is happening? I hope no news isn't bad news.
