In Ohio ( Carroll County ) , CHPK has one pad that has both a producing Marcellus Well and a producing Utica Well.

Thanks for the info US. Southeastern Ohio could be a very interesting area when this all plays out.

I checked out this permit and location and it truly will be interesting.  The point of great interest is the riverfront area of Monroe and how much the marcellus overlaps into Monroe out of the WV formation. This new permit will be drilled not far from the river in Switzerland twp.  next township down is Ohio and there are two exisiting marcellus wells there,  next twp down is Lee twp where Eclipse is drilling;   next twp is Jackson where a marcellus 6000 feet well  that has been drilled for three or four years.  Definately a pattern of "proving it up" along the riverfront in Monroe Co.  Time will tell how good they are.    The wells in Ohio and Jackson twps are producing well!
