JODI I would say theres a 99% chance its MFC. WRP who leased me and was bought out by Devon didnt go east of me. I am well west of TR251. Devon paid $500 per acre last year to a guy just east of the Devon well. Now that was for the full 5 years. So it really translated into the 100 per acre per year. Which I believe thats what you guys are talking about.

Oh, yeah, this agent also told him that they weren't interested in drilling to the Marcellus!! That is probably the only truth spoken!!

Thats good for me Im 1/4 indian i should sue the goverment then I wont have to get any oil money. True but we got better and they havent shown any improvements in the directions of human rights. It takes one generation to make a change and in my opinion they need to make it happen now. It takes 50years for it to get decently good. We kinda went overboard thus my comment above about suing the government. In my opinion.

Calla, he's going to bring in the papers on monday. He did mention that they (Precision)had to file at the courthouse. I originally told him to find out who hired them to perform testing. He never asked. I think the guy may have sold him a time share in Florida too.LOL.

Calla you need to come to my area! Theres new tractors everywhere already. LOL! The government makes sure of that! The one world government comment should scare everyone! The world will not chose our incompetent over spending goverment to lead the world. Name another super power except a few arrogant ones that even like us. My Chinese opinion is mine for reasons few people in this world understand! I will not miss out if I'm not leased they will force pool me and checks will come and yes I will cash them because I'm not stupid! But my opinion of Chinese will never change till they do. It's not that whole pound my chest and state I'm American I am better than you! Look how that FINANCIAL GIANT treats there poor and children as well as India does the same. Calla I have heard you are a stay at home mom. That to me is the worst and best job in the world it is so hard as well as rewarding. Someday you hope they do whatever they want to in life and succeed right? Hopefully you now understand my distaste for the Chinese! Sorry for the off topic point but thanks for all the good info and please keep it coming.

Okay, I talked to him tonight. I think my head is going to explode! The seismic testing is not part of his lease. He signed. The man that came out said that he was being rushed by his employers and needed to do this. He told him that everybody else signed. He also told my friend that they weren't paying anyone to do this either. When my friend asked when they planned on doing this, he replied not until after planting. When my friend asked about crop damage when they do this, the man never answered him and changed the subject. Red flags anyone? This guy was related to someone somewhere that my friend knew and I think he was cannonized by the church. This friend of mine is not the sharpest person I know, but, he is too trusting. His mother, that has the largest piece of land, did not sign. I pled with him not to let her sign. He is going to bring in the paper that man wants her sign. He had told me earlier that he wouldn't sign anything tonight, but this guy was so nice and in a hurry that my friend wanted to help him. AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

 On a positive note, This rep did mention something about the rose run and the trempleau layer ( I know I misspelled that). He also mentioned that DVN wasn't interested in this area because people wanted $500ac. I told him that is what DVN is offering currently. I've got a headache.

Calla, how true.Money talks. I'll try and give this landowner a call this evening and see what's up. All this can be very confusing, I'll notify my neighbors on this recent activity. From what I've been reading on this site, it's always been obvious that they weren't done. Thier leases are running out, they've been exposed and have no choice but to get started again. Kasich is going to tax them(if he has his way). Their games are going to cost them more because, the holdout landowners are more organized and knowledgeable.
