A well in Beaver County that was completed in 2011 about to be flared for the second time 4 months later. Shows only part of the pad/equipment moved in, as the terrain is a hinderance.

The flare stack is in the right side of the photo.  Mounted on the trailer there.

Kathleen, It is nice to know at least some folks appreciate the effort. I'm no expert, but the red 'cross' on the right of the picture is the well head that the piping you see connects to. The piping leads to what I'd call a heater treater, which I believe separates the produced water from the gas/ngl's stream. The piping going left after the heater treater goes to produced water tanks. There was what appeared to be another type of heater treater in the left corner, out of view...not sure what it did. The pipe after the first heater treater going to the right is headed out to the flare pipe. If you look you will see it on the right side of the picture, about 60' tall or so. It is not burning at the time the picture was taken. I do have a picture and video with sound of it flaring at nite, but it isn't that great of a picture/video. Surely most have seen an actual flaring picture anyhow.

Hi Craig,
I love your photos. If you have a minute can you tell me what I'm seeing? I know this might sound stupid but where does the flare come out. This equipment must be big since the people look small.
