For anyone who has not attended one of these meetings yet, this is going to be the last "public" meeting. Any meetings going forward will be for those who have signed up to be a part of the group. So, if you are still "on the fence", or wanting more info, in my opinion this session offers some good insight to the leasing process & even if you decide not to become part of the group, it will help arm you with valuable info to make an informed decision.
You are invited to attend a free informational meeting regarding Ohio Group 5 on:
Tuesday, August 9th at 6:00 p.m.
Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center
7033 Glenn Highway
Cambridge, Ohio
Information kits will be available at this meeting. If you are unable to attend and would like a free information kit, please contact Paralegal Machelle McBurney at 1-877-876-9958. Additional information re: the Utica Shale Play can be found in the Oil & Gas Practice Section on our website.

I would like to make an appeal to the members and Administrator alike concerning information like group meetings and contact information of groups as well as other more news worthy items.
It has been aparent to me that one can spend hours on this site daily and still miss these items of interest. I can search Ohio Landowners and miss content about a meeting in Trumbull County because it was buried in a Noble County thread(for purpose of example only).
Most of us do not have hours each day to dedicate to this site as interesting as it may be and even concerning the value of content. Can we be more diligent in posting this type of information in a more centralized location, even if it means duplication of content? The Headers are present but so much is not included/ updated under them.
This site is a fantastic resource, i just hope this can be addressed constructively to enhance it value to all of us. I myself missed valuable information about ALOV signups and deadlines in part due to this issue. Thanks to all!
No problem. I can't say for sure about Trumbull.....maybe someone else will answer that for you, but it wouldn't hurt to give them a call and ask.
You should call before this coming Wed. I believe that is when the week is up.
Nelson, thank you for clarifying the timeline, I knew they accepting more acreage, but wasn't quite sure about the cut-off date...... being the end of this week or next.
I just received an email from KWGD and group 5 is now closed as of Friday 8/26,
ended up with almost 20,000 acres. Bill Williams said that is the largest of their groups thus far ! Hold on now guys it's getting ready to go out for bids soon!! Let's all hope for the best.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
