Meeting with WKGD

 Were any of you in attendance at the meeting with KWGD on Monday at the PLCC. I was there and was totally surprised by the number of people in attendance. What were your thoughts about the meeting? I found it to be very informative.

Virgil, I am not sure if we are supposed to make that known yet or not.  We will know more after the meeting Thursday.  Hopefully we will also know more about what we can share with everybody.  One thing is certain & that is that there are still a few of the major players taking an interest in our area currently.

Nelson,  keep me updated on this KWGD meeting if you are able too, I'm currently living out of state but own land in Madison Township.

The Carrizzo/Homeland meeting is tonight @ 7:00 pm.

The KWGD meeting is Thursday night @ 6:00 pm

Both are using the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center in Cambridge which leads to some confusion here.

My wife and I have property in Madison Township, a small plot just under 10 acres on Wintergreen/Burson Rd area.  I have not been contacted by any groups or companies regarding leases. I would appreciate any comments / advice on how I should proceed. We plan on making this our retirement home, currently shuffling back and forth from Cleveland . Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey all, quick update for KWGD Group 5 - Guernsey. Co.  The townships that are open to adding new members/acreage regardless of whether they are contiguous with a current landowner has now been expanded to 8 townships in Gue. Co. instead of just the original 5.  So any group member that has friends or neighbors in Washington, Madison, Wills, Oxford, Londenderry, Center, Jefferson or Monroe township in Guernsey county please let them know that the group would be interested in considering adding their acreage if they would like to do so.

Well I have stayed off this site ever since I posted something about some people recieving 5,000 an acre and taking a royal beating over it. If you have property in Guernsey county contact KWGD.com this week and ask them what they have to offer. You wont be disappointed.

Got some info from the KWDG attorney today,, decent numbers for sure. Legal fees paid ? I wonder how that works. Have another email into him regarding contract length ,, he responds quickly , another thing I like. Haven't seen the contract tho, can anyone say if it's a 5 year + 5 option ?

I also have spoken with another group who seems to be pretty well informed , organized and also respond quickly, Matt Crislip & Ray Gumps group. Anyone have any constructive info comparing the two ? Not looking to start a war by any means, but I believe from the information I have now,, both are very comparable.

I believe you are considering between two very capable groups here.  I am with KWGD, but I have friends who are part of Matt & Ray's group.  Both definitely are strong groups & I have not heard any real negatives about either.  Personally, I went with KWGD because I like the thought of having The attorneys leading the group.  KWGD has successfully negotiated for 4 groups prior to this one, so they have a good track record.  The KWGD lease is very landowner friendly in comparison to any of the others I have seen.  I have not seen the proposed lease for the other group, however if my friends like it, it must be of pretty good quality, as my friends are not ones to take this lightly either.  Matt & Ray seem to have made the necessary contacts, & are handling things in a very professional manner as well.  I would say talk with both groups & see who you are more comfortable with.   I would like to see you join with us in the KWGD group, but I can not talk down about the other group either from what I have heard of them.
