Does anyone know what the smallest unit a company will drill? I have 240 acres and they are going to put the rig on my property. But i dont think anyone else around has a lease signed that i know of. So is 240 acers enough for them to drill the permits already have been issued?

Where are you located? A few of the single lateral wells in Ohio have been drilled with an original unit size of 150 - 180 acres.

You can find out all of the permits issued and their progress on a site like this for WV.
It's so easy to find with the DEP.
Here's the one for WV.

Then go to the Search permits, then put your county and Marcellus in.
