The direct skinny on the one meeting!
Hey Billy,
I got your voice message.
Yes, we are having our meeting this Thursday at Tri Valley HS, 7-9 PM. Our group is still accepting new members so yes the public is invited. Technically our group is centered in the Southwest Coshocton and NW Muskingum Counties, but if you are close then you would be eligible to join. We hope to explain all this at the meeting, so hope you can attend.
Thanks
Jere
Billy,
Did you go to the Energy-In-Depth Ohio meeting last night?
Who are the group leaders?
What is the group territory?
Yes I did I posted it in http://gomarcellusshale.com/group/muskingum-licking-county/forum/to...
I went to the Zanesville, Ohio meeting tonight. In attendance there were about 50 to 60 people. (rather surprising, I would have expected more) It appears that a Zanesville Law firm is trying to start up a land owners group. There were no specifics mentioned upon what lease bonuses might be or what they thought they may be able to bargain for.
As to a GOOD POINT Anyone can back out at any time until it comes time to get the ball rolling. You will know before hand what the lease will be. As far as membership rates goes of fee it is still undecided but here is what they are looking at. A flat fee of $150-$175 per acre charge after lease is finalized (probably will be agreed to be withheld from bonus I would assume) or Contingency of 4% to 5% of bonus. No Royalty Take.
EID Energy in Depth gave a presentation and it was kind of neat to really hands onto a real piece of Utica Shale. Sure did save me a lot of work with the shovel!
Personal thoughts, they have an idea if they pursue it and word spreads it might be good competition.
Well that all for now folks stay tuned. Billy

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
