Permalink Reply by SBRW on March 8, 2012 at 2:57am 15k and acre I wouldn't sell my property. It just appraised at 20k/acre. I would however entertain 25k and acre with all mineral rights etc.... plus their is some other things structure wise on the property that a gas company would love. Anyone interested let me know, wet gas with plenty of room to keep you rigs, equipment etc... indoors.
Permalink Reply by Kathleen on March 8, 2012 at 4:33am Shoot I would love to get in a group to buy minerals since that 100% off sets the taxes since it's trading back into how you go the money. I forget the actual IRS code but it's easy to find if anyone looks. I heard of people talking about doing this but as usual nothing pans out. Lots of talk and no money on the table.
I was in the columbus area last Nov and they did not know about the oil and anyone I talked to told me I was wrong and the only people that make money is the ones with a pad. I tried telling them. I was hoping to buy land west of us but East of Columbus but since then this O/G is known area wide.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
