These studies go something like this:
On November 30, 2011, the CDC and CDC Foundation issued this press release.
At issue:
o We have the best technology in the world, so we should focus on prevention and healthy habits, as opposed to treating disease. Obesity, substance
abuse, alcoholism and smoking are all health issues in which behavioral interventions can go a long way toward reducing their impact and lowering total
healthcare costs.
This "study" has a PRE-DETERMINED OUTCOME. It is funded by the maker of Chantix. This is an intentional cover-up of the losses to bars from smoking bans. The CEO of the so-called non-biased company thinks we should focus on behavioral interventions.
Bet she believes in anthropogenic global warming, too.

The anti movement lost steam with their claims of fracing contaminating local aquifers. They are now trying to paint a different picture, fracing is responsible for many health issues. What they are attempting is to feed their friends in the media more fear mongering and hope some of it sticks. Pitiful. At some point these people need to be held to a standard of properly supporting their assertions - before they can disseminate misinformation. Thanks for calling Dr. McKenzie to the mat.
