New to site and ownership

Hello,

I am a new mineral rights owner since my parents died. The property is in Venango Co. and I just found this site. I am leased with Range Res. and my parents have been with them since the 70's. I have a few basic questions and don't want to bore you so is there a person I can email for this? Like how long is a lease good for and what is the latest info on that area's drilling? Are they fracking there yet and do you think they will do so in the future? I have little knowledge of this but am eager to learn. I own the rights for 100 acres and have 2 wells currently. My parents were older and didn't really keep up with it all.

Hi Lois,

Hopefully some folks more knowledgeable that I will answer your questions, but I wanted to let you know there is a county group section on this website. You will find info specifically on Venango County there and also many helpful members. When you sign up to the group a box will pop up asking for a donation but it is optional and you can select zero if you like. Here is the link, good luck to you.
