Just curious...
I am in Liberty township and a few months ago got an offer to buy my royalties for 1500 to 1800 per acre, but they would do a more in-depth look if I was serious which "mite change the numbers" slightly....even tho I am not drilled or receiving any royalties ..talked to a landsman rite b4 I contacted them and he advised caution as there will be "significant" activity in my area in the "near future"....how about it, anybody else get an offer or hear anything or see any activity here in Tioga Co. ?

Thanks - if that's a Utica test it will definitely be of some interest. That location would be getting close to where the structure that may define the southern edge of any commercially productive zone is supposed to be.
Thank you for posting. Great map. Where did you find this? It's great
Nancy, first, I looked up Brumwell in the name index of the 2008 Tioga County PA Plat Book, which gave the plat book map page.
Then used the Tioga County map Viewer:
http://www.tiogacountypa.us/Departments/GIS/Pages/OnlineMapDisclaim...
to locate the online map area that matched the plat book map. After getting the map like I wanted it, did a screen capture of my computer screen. Cropped the image, leaving enough roads, etc. to identify the area on a real (paper) map. Uploaded image to GMS.
The TC Map Viewer does take some experimenting but, credit to TC, it isn't limited to Microsoft browsers.
Thank you so much

alexander brumwell lives in great Britain. my land is a little south of his. there are Marcellus wells on the east and west of that property, the starks 460 & 461 units, so I figured they will be drilling Marcellus there too. shell has been leasing, both first and second generation in that are filling in holes presumably for that unit.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
