Just curious...
I am in Liberty township and a few months ago got an offer to buy my royalties for 1500 to 1800 per acre, but they would do a more in-depth look if I was serious which "mite change the numbers" slightly....even tho I am not drilled or receiving any royalties ..talked to a landsman rite b4 I contacted them and he advised caution as there will be "significant" activity in my area in the "near future"....how about it, anybody else get an offer or hear anything or see any activity here in Tioga Co. ?

Those rumors are exciting. Which formation were the "Home Runs" drilled into ?
What do the gather lines and metering station connect to ? The TGP 300 ? They already have a metering station on Glenn Road which connects to Dominion.
Thanks, Bird.

I don't use MS Windows so can't access the site. Anyone who has used it, what's your impression? Also, if someone is using it, it would be helpful if you would upload an example map to GMS.
Permalink Reply by paleface on December 30, 2013 at 2:06am Its easy to use its user friendly but it needs a little more work. The problem I found was you can't click on the green dots or wells and have them identified maybe its a work in process.
Permalink Reply by Ann Ticopa on December 30, 2013 at 3:29am Thank you.
Permalink Reply by Tom R on December 30, 2013 at 3:44am To get the info on the individual wells, you have to click on the blue circle with the "i" inside it up at the top of the map to select that function. Then click on the green dot and a window with the details will open. It may not show the specific well you want but click on the button to the right of the well name and you'll get a drop down of the wells permitted for the site. Click on the one you want for details of that well. Then if you click the well number at the top of the listing, it will link to the state's production reporting module (you get the disclaimer screen first) which gives any loaded production and waste reports for that well.

8800' foot lat in Marcellus and 4850 foot lat in Bakken..........neither well hooked up yet did not start gathering line hookuprocess looks like all permits are in place
However just drove by today and shell is currently drilling the TBR well now...........looks like a little city
You do understand that the well currently being drilled is a Utica well, and that the Bakken is an oil-prone formation most commonly drilled in North Dakota. Just trying to keep the discussion focused on what's actually happening in the area.
Permalink Reply by Mr. Bluebird on January 2, 2014 at 1:30am I think Darrell may have meant Burkett. They seem to be testing that formation in Tioga County.
Thanks for all the info folks.
Permalink Reply by Darrell Weaver on January 2, 2014 at 1:47pm I did mean the Burkett and Shell was very happy with the outcome...............Current well on that pad (3rd) is a TBR according to plat map
Permalink Reply by Darrell Weaver on January 3, 2014 at 10:00am I can honestly say I do not know what they are fishing for however I truly hope they find it. I can say with 100% certainly that they did find oil in potter county last year........

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
