I was just trying to funny. Not my strong suit. Look at the Anadarko wells assigned. They were boomers out of the gate but dropped off quick. It will be interesting to see if the well pads are plugged or reworked or who knows????? Anadarko and Jerry James that's who. Artex has leased a bunch of land with their seismic option in the past year and half. Very interesting indeed.

Seems like a long time ago Anadarko was the Big Dog in the oil window.

Quick look only WLW. Did Antero get all the "excluded" property?
I guess the Antero/Anadarko deal is getting overshadowed by the Southwestern/Chessy deal today. Billions vs Millions.
It's Anadarko and Artex, not Antero.
Look closely. Anadarko to Antero. Unless I'm....... well losing it.
Look at Exhibit B at the top of this page, it's ARTEX.
Someone connected to this forum must have some information on Artex's plans for this acreage and these leases. I would love to hear what they are up to.

Glenn, they will continue to drill Beekmantown/Roserun wells. Maybe Utica wells are in their future? The wells they were assigned weren't bad considering they were drilled nearly 3 years ago. New techniques like we see from Enervest and EQT could make the area profitable. They completed a 30 square mile 3D shoot in Knox County Morgan Twsp this past spring and have permitted 3 wells there this week. All the wells are on Devon Energy acreage. Maybe we will see a similar assignment/bill of sale from Devon to Artex soon.?????
