Just had the dog catch me a surveyor for the geo survey company today. He took gps coordinate s of our buildings and well . Wasn't very talkative but said he believes they should be putting the sonar equipment out in the next few months .

Wonder if I'll ever see that big check for 5.00 per acre ? That would be a.whole tank.of gas for my van !

Forgot to add , I am close to Wintergreen and Burson Rds.

Yeah, they did mine the other day out here on Fairground rd... I also had a D.A.S. survey crew putting marks on the road out front.... I hope that was for a unit and I'm in it.... LOL I still have not heard anything from A.E.U.

My brother in law came home the other day to little flags on some of his trees up and down his hill. They have around 26 acres and are not signed with anyone. There was no note on the door or anything to who did it?? I don't think it's right that they should be able to go on your land without permission. They are near bears den restaurant off of route 40. Anyone else have this problem?

If the flags were blue and white they were probably about the geological survey. were they along the road? If so, it may be on the easement for the county.... If not they were trespassing if the had no permission to go on the property... I gave them permission to survey my 22 acres a while back and they paid me 5 dollars an acre. I live around the fairgrounds... I have blue and white ribbons where they will be doing the work....

Sad. That was my great grandparents farm

I see the sky is lit up over Birmingham tonight as if it's a big city. They must be either drilling or fracking at the Carrizo, Brown well? You can see the lights from Rt.22 It's not a yellow glow, like from a flare, but it's bright white lights.

That's cool Bo. Wish I could see it... Did you hear about the fracking ban in Athens Ohio....? And in Denton Texas?

tree huggers

Yep, they aint got a clue, because the liberal media they listen to, doesn't let them hear the whole truth... I believe everything is gonna be all right no matter what comes to light about fracking and we will fix any problems  that may arise, because a whole bunch of rich guys want to stay rich.... LOL

Big Pad being built by Fairgrounds near Old Washington. Just over the overpass on County Home Rd. Shipman property. Don't see a permit for it?  Probably exited about the 500 BBL. oil per day per well they are getting out of the Daddy Shugert well.just down the road. They are doing a lot of seismic testing on Lake ridge rd. just south of Salt Fork lake. MarkWest is mapping out a pipeline through that area.Looks like the closer they get to I-77,the more oil they produce. The Parker well. just over the Guernsey co. line near Peoli,is producing lots of it. Too bad the towellheads are running the price of oil down.
