Gosh, that's a really long list.

In answer to the question, I can honestly report finding no favorites among those named.  My favorite actress is Amy Adams.

How sad all I can do is shake my head and think of the old commercial, a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Many of these artists have a certain musical or theatrical talent that certainly doesn't translate to common sense. I have actually run across some of the people who manage the money and schedules of these folks and they feel like glorified babysitters, knowing that the lives of many of these artists would run off the rails if it weren't for them. Yet, these artists think we should listen to them, when they can't get their own house in order? If it weren't so sad, it would be funny.

Jimmy Fallon is on here and that is disappointing

Especially since he's from Upstate NY and knows how the economy needs it up there!

DID ANYONE SEE JIMMY FALLON AND JULIAN LENNON AND MOM ON TV.

SHE WAS HOLDING A GLOBE WHILE THEY WERE BOTH SINGING 'PLEASE DONT FRACK MY MOTHER".

I would have thought Matt Damon would be on this list

I do consider actors to be artists also

That's interesting that he's not on here, I wonder if feedback after his anti-fracking movie influenced  him?

Each one of these folks is nothing but a single human being with obviously no more facts on things than most others... and usually less factual information. Their opinions carry as much weight as anyone else, no more to me. If fact a lot of their opinions are not worth the effort to think about.
I never understood why folks would value any "famous" person's opinions more than any others. I guess some do because it makes them feel good.

You mean you aren't consulting with the Lady GaGa before leasing your land? :)

Keith your post is almost addicting. It should be a case study in liberal nuttiness. I get the old hippies (David Crosby and the alternative crowd; B52's, Lady Ga Ga et al) but what's with Joe Walsh and Robert DeNiro? Don't even get me started about Julian Lennon. The last I heard he was lamenting the fact that Sean Ono Lennon got most of daddy's money and he was left with a few chump change millions. You would think he might be sympathetic toward us folks from the hills.

I wanna know how the list got passed around? It is rather amusing that you don't see many country and hard rock/heavy metal artists on the list. I guess they weren't at the same dinner soirees or Burning Man parties that the other crowd was at. Again as I said before, if it weren't so sad it would be funny.

Craig,

Well-stated

Don't recognize many of the names.
