Hey Bo, I live just on the other side of 70 right across the road from the fairgrounds. I was wondering about why they don't run laterals under the Interstate.... I heard they are gonna 'force pool" that property but when? How does that "forced pooling" work?

They have to 1st pay a $10,000. application fee. then prove on paper with all the #s why it needs to be done or why the laterals under I-70 will benefit the unit. If the State would just lease those rights, along with the minerals under the 20,000 Salt Fork acres, you would see a lot more permits being pulled for those twps. To have to forcepool takes too long and is costly. Maybe someone who knows how can check the county engineers report to see if a permit has been obtained for the Shipman pad? Maybe those laterals will be headed s.e..

From your lips to the the States ears !! Amen !

Lance, your property looks like an ideal site for a pad with laterals heading NW.

I would wish that was true but I only have 22 acres here. I have to be a part of a pooled unit. I am on the north side of 70 just outside of old Washington on Fairground rd. Right across from the Fairground...My land borders state ground. Now, with oil at 65 bucks a barrel I was told a lot of the drilling will be put on hold until the price comes back up... Is that true? What's your take on this?

I see Carrizo has set up their rig on Frankfort rd. just south of New gottengen rd.  They are building a new pad  there for the Wagner well. in the bottom.  Carrizo seems to be really happy with their results in Guernsey county. They are willing to drill em,& shut em in while they wait on pipelines as long as the $$$ holds up.      The seismic guys were hauling in a couple little drilling rigs at the Dave Linn farm today on Lake ridge rd.. Did the same down by Buffalo, just east of I-77.   They just keep getting closer n closer to I-77!

Yep, the seismic guys are all around here I see blue and white tape all over the trees around here they have a couple places to drill on my place...

Sounds good Lance.  They probably don't do that stuff unless the drilling rigs aren't too far behind!    Still haven't found out anything on the Shipman pad being built. I venture to say it's American Energy boys. They gotta be well pleased with the Daddy Shugert wells! Could be Gulfport also.

Most of the leases in that area of shipman were Rice leases, and now Aubrey's so I would guess it's AEU

Lance, who are you leased with?

Started out Shell the AEU got it.....

The pad being built on the corner of New Gottengen and Frankfort roads is Carrizo's Watson pad, not wagner. It also is being built before the permit is obtained,UNLESS, ODNR has issued permits for  it and the Shipman  and has just forgot,or are delaying the big task of posting it on their well viewer.OR ,the drillers are confident that they can now go ahead and build these pads, then get the permit later?
