Permalink Reply by David Allen Lilly on January 21, 2015 at 11:55pm I am not even sure where those wells are or what the holdups were with them.
Permalink Reply by catt on January 22, 2015 at 1:26am David.....the Rotz well will be on 265 near the Moore farm by Eldon, and the Pletcher is going to be accessed off Nevada Road. Rob Rotz had stated- that there was a hold up because of an old rail road running along the bottoms of each unit.

It is hard to figure what the drillers are thinking in a lot of cases, I make assumptions based on what I know but it is not always accurate.
I would assume that with the oil and gas prices down the drillers will become more and more economical, looking for the wells they can drill the cheapest.

yes the hold up is the old rail bed that runs along 265. why it just doesnt go back to me and the other owners im not sure. Eclipse lawyers been working on it for a year. who knows the real truth. they are working very hard on the pipeline though. there is a pile of stone bigger than my house buy my pond to be spread as a temp access road. going down right now to spend the weekend snooping around. if any one wants a tour or to BS 26430 barker rd........
Permalink Reply by David Allen Lilly on January 23, 2015 at 12:18pm The rig pieces started showing up today. These pictures were earlier in the day, I saw a lot of other trucks come in with rig parts throughout the day.
They are still coming in as I type.
I will try to get some more pictures tomorrow.

Permalink Reply by David Allen Lilly on January 24, 2015 at 7:00am The site had trouble posting my comment, I guess because of the pictures. I edited it to state the well site.
I wasn't on Herb's property. I knew you would say something like that. More pictures to follow, they have the big cranes up down there.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
