Who is responsible for keeping the road to the well head clear of fallen trees, the producer or the land owner? I can't find any mention of it in either the lease or the drilling permit granted in 1992. Several trees were downed by storms earlier in the summer and are across the road created for access to the well head and nothing else. The well has been shut-in since January of 2017. Can lack of access due to fallen trees be used as an excuse to keep the well shut-in?

I would say its the oil&gas companys job to keep the road clear but for peace of mind I would get someone that you can trust that needs fire wood open the road up people always looking for free fire wood that's if you can get past the gate.
