I've seen a map where the depth of the shale layer is much deeper in the top northeast part of Pleasants and the area between St. Marys and Parkersburg. I have about three thousand acres setting in this latter area. Would the depth of the shale (25-50) make this area more valuable to the o and g companies? We have started to actively pursue leasing.
