We live in PA, but own mineral rights and have signed a lease on property at the site of the Hundred WV sporteman club. Does anyone have any information of any activity on that property? Thanks

C. Robert -  Has your son 's land been leased?  If so how large is the pool he is in?  Is the land where the well is going up in his pool?  These are factors that determine his eligability to receive royalties.  I assume he has been contacted by the oil company. - Denver

My son has 53 acres in Grant District on Lowman Ridge, county road 7--EQ has us surrounded and currently droppiing a well (with 5 legs) just 300' south of the parcel--how can we determne (if at all), once production begins, that they are or are not taking gas or oil from our parcel? CRW

We live out of state, but have inheirted mineral rights to land in the Proctor District of Wetzel County.  It's near D.R. Calderwood.  Does anyone know how drilling is going in that area?  -  Denver

Hello

It seems as though my wife has a small percentage of some oil & gas wells in Wetzel. We were sent a letter from Chesapeake they want her to sign & her social security #. They say if she don't sign & give her SS# there will be a 28% withholding tax non-refundable. She does not want to sign until we find out exactly what has transpired. We are not even sure of who this inheritance is from. Where or what should we do first?

Hello, Does anyone have any information on MarkWest Energy clearing land on Lowman Ridge (Wetzel County near Fallen Timber Road.)  I understand they are going to construct a Processing Facility here? Thanks Ed Kerns
