Atlas vs Chesapeake “I've asked questions about Chesapeake now I'm interested in someone’s experience with Atlas. I have 74 acres to lease in Greene and have an offer from Chesapeake (DSP) but I understand that Atlas may be drilling on the adjacent property. I live in LA so any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.”

EQT's Hydraulic Fracturing Fluid Composition Released to the PA DEP “I think we've got a bit of an uphill battle with the NIMBY's but if we keep our statements true and are willing to reach out to people at their level, those of us in favor of drilling can help educate the undecided.”

Wonder Why There Are NO East Landmen Around Tioga County – “The guy I was working with from Chesapeake said they were pulling back offers for the time being. He said it was a quarterly thing and could also be to assess there position. He said they are still doing drill site leases in select areas.”

$60 an Acre: Columbiana County Ohio offers - “My dad just started talking to two gas companyies and got an offer of 60.00 an acre and 12.5% . We live in Columbiana County OH. Does anyone know of any other offers near here to compare?”

Beaver County PA Land Groups – “I think there has been a recent flurry of activity in parts of Beaver and Lawrence. The only company I have heard offers from is Chesapeake. Their offer was $1,500/acre and 12.5%. There are a couple of small groups of landowners who have gotten together to discuss.”

When are you notified if the gas of your land is part of a well? – “Does anyone know when the gas company has to notify you that your gas will be part of a production unit?”

We plan to follow-up with each non-compliant firm and pursue whatever enforcement action is necessary to get them to abide by the law.”
