added Marichini - Zingieser, Lyon CHK and Messersmith sites. added Brad 73 Millard, Brad 75 Senn, Brad 77 Campbell and Darrow Water Impoundments.

Also of interest, the Senn WI permit is sought by CHK in TLM territory Windham Twp. Most if not all of TLM leases in Litchfield Twp. have been assigned to CHK.
Permits were applied for for Kline A & B (Kier Hill), Kingsley E, Ostrander (Warren Center), Jenner Sr K (LeRaysville) and Everts Jr P. TLM did not supply GPS for these and DEP doesn't have them in the system yet (maybe because they don't have the GPS?). Anyone know the GPS?
See you next year.

Thanks for all of this great information! One question: how accurate are the units outlined in color? In a previous update, our property (Litchfield) was not included in a unit on the map (Layton, CHK), but now it is (but, not all of it). Also, our water will be tested next Saturday, and on that paperwork it lists a well pad named "Fish-Bra". Is that a new pad under development? Thanks again for your efforts and Happy New Year!
Permalink Reply by Wayne Miller on January 1, 2012 at 3:57am They are only as accurate as I can transfer them from the recorded maps. Here is the actual unit map for Layton http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31036030/Layton%20unit.pdf It looks as if they got most of your property, but the rest will probably be in a unit between Layton and Aldefer.
Typically they do water testing , then apply for a water withdrawal permit and then the pad permit. This can take several months. The GPS co-ords are usually listed on the pad permit application.

Permalink Reply by angela visalli on January 2, 2012 at 2:40am Happy New Year! Can you get me information on the Vough and Corbin Unit. I've seen 4 permits pulled for Vough and nothing for the Corbin unit. I think my land is in both these units by looking at your map updates. From what I've read on different threads, you get some kind of division of order indicating which unit you are in. I have not received anything and who would send out this type of letter?
Permalink Reply by Wayne Miller on January 2, 2012 at 3:50am These division orders are recorded in the courthouse. In the beginning CHK sent a copy to everyone involved, but they have since stopped. I don't know about TLM. You can get copies from the courthouse or on Landex.

Permalink Reply by Wayne Miller on January 3, 2012 at 2:18am Everything is input into Google Earth, I don't have it in any other format. I can provide individual unit maps of specific units.
Permalink Reply by Wayne Miller on January 6, 2012 at 3:03am I think that both of your properties will be in the Paccard unit. Have they done any drilling there yet?
Permalink Reply by Wayne Miller on January 6, 2012 at 10:40am They have permits for wells 2H and 5H, but you can be sure there will be at least 6 wells eventually.
Permalink Reply by Marc Fournier on January 7, 2012 at 3:24am Wayne,
What are the new lines that look like hooks coming from the various wells? Some are white, some are red. Also, do you have a similar style map that shows pipelines? We have land in the Seaman EOG well and I am wondering when it will produce. Been told there is no pipeline. Also interested in anything about Michnich in Leraysville, Williamson CHK in Smithfield and anything just east of Wood EOG in Bentley Creek. Thank you so much for the continued map updates. It's amazing.
Marc
Permalink Reply by Wayne Miller on January 7, 2012 at 3:34am Those are well bore paths. EOG is the only company that puts the well paths on their recorded unit maps. I only have info that is available to the public through production unit or drilling permit filings. Pipeline permits are difficult since they only give one GPS for the entire length. Maybe the entire length gets published somewhere. Anyone have a source?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
