i have some buddys that signed with them also and nothing yet, are you talking about the guys on barker and shannon run rd.

i just spoak with my buddy,  he talked with carrizo today,  they are asking for a 90 day extention due to the court house being way behind.  so it could be a while.

I am on Barker had signed with Gulfport! Their 120 days has came and went with no news at all good bad or indifferent. I am still hopefull that it happens.Seems most courthouses are a mess now days.I have heard nightmares about morgan noble and guernsey county courthouses being standing room only at times.Maybe when the rush backs off things will speed up a little.Some of Guernsey counties abstracts are now online.Wouldn't it be great if all the counties were! My abstract is listed in Madison twp.but i'm in Millwood.Oops.Some of my neighbors had signed long ago with Sun O&G and never got a thing and are now looking to sign with someone else.Does not seem to be alot of signers left out there.

I live in Washington Twp, Guernsey County and a landman from Mason Dixon working for Chesapeake stopped at my door Tuesday.  He said they were working the eastern townships of Guernsey.  Offer was $5300 and 20% royalty.

Where on barker are you,  just down from Axle and across from RJ.  im two drives past axles burned house.

Richard, I thought that was what you were referring to. These are just the scanned property file cards from the Map Office that date back to the '60's.  They show some prior transfers but are by no means a complete abstract. They do not show any lease activity and are not the result of the current leasing activity.

The county recorder has nothing online and to my knowledge there are no plans to do so. The index books are becoming damaged and need to be scanned but the commissioners apparently don't see this as a priority. The county Auditor has property records online and they may be seached here.. http://guernseycountyauditor.org/ but these are just current owners you have to go the recorders to search the chain of title and may even wind up in Probate records. The Clerk of Courts is also online but thats it for Guernsey County. Hope this helps..

PS.. The first two digits are the school district .. maybe why your listed in the wrong twp?

I should also say Nelson if you know the first two numbers of your property parcel number that is how the they are listed.  Example 22    23    24    25  ect!!!!
