Hello folks,
I just got a letter from Caffey Group in Ft. Worth, TX, asking if we are interested in leasing our land in Sandycreek Township. A quick Google search shows news of a lawsuit against them in TX. Anyone know anything about them or anyone else been contacted by them? The letter references the Utica.
Thanks

Hello TIM !!! !!
Hilcorp with cheveron?
one hundred fifty thousand dollar there charging for landowners. people who bad month landowners groups say your getting to big. well a group is leasing 80000 or 100000 acres and have a signing date. We don't charge membership fee and two dollars and 50 cents per acre and this group has 27 page lease with wet gas language not just oil and gas. Join a landowners group keep your bonus money.
everyone knows alov has a lease and a signing meeting on april 10-16
what you want to know actually have a copy of the lease
well they meet on 26 march for the term members only at covell convention center. they get there terms and the lease says reeview carefully for signing on 10- 16 april 2012 and the lease says execution 27 pages for the lease has 5 subparts plus the lease.
ALOV members who have gotten information by mail, with a proposed lease offer should read the material, paying attention to the confidentiality clause!
This was insisted on by the high bidder, this is why there has been so little information before now. The high bidder most likely can pull the deal out from under us or impose a penalty for breaking this clause if they so choose, all because some have loose lips.
I dont like the hush hush bit either but i will honor it until after the vote.
In regards to the lease, ALOV paid attorneys and some industry proffesionals to work with them to design and draft this lease. This means ALOV members paid for this, it is what in some circles would be considered intellectual property and would have copyright protection. At the very least it is also confidential.
I am all about sharing information to help my fellow landowner, and i am certainly all about keeping a very watchful eye on the O&G industry as we deal with them, but i dont want anybody putting this deal at risk when we have waited so long for Mr. Rea to bring us to this point in the game.
I have defended landowner groups as the best option, and everything newer user's of this site will need has already been covered, just read old post's back to about May of 2011. After our vote on this deal is done, i will personally take the time to sign in and share the detail's, OK? As always i wish everyone the best of luck. Jim
If you would please letknow what the terms are because we waiting for your lease to go. Once all said and done and who you signed with.
are you landowners
are you landowners

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
