I do know the Southeastern Ohio Landowners Association (Jennifer Garrission et al) has been signing up property in Washington County.  They were successful in their recent Guernsey County negotiation per their website.  I like the fact they negotiate gross royalties vs. net and seem to have a top notch team well-versed in Oil and Gas.  I don't like the exclusivity duration of 12 months but I do understand it protects the integrety of the group.  Any experience out there with this group or others?  Caywood Road Group?

I am currently also in Fearing/Lawrence TWPs where PDC has been active.  Lease offers between $500 - $2500 on the bonus payment and 15% net on the royalties.  Hoping the market settles a bit higher as it did up north with bonus in the $3500-$5K range and royaties of the gross variety - 17 - 19%.  We'll see.  Wait and they drill and its good - you make out!  Wait and they drill and its not good....cold cup of jack squat.

Is this not a world economy?  We need to realize that we have a golden opportunity to produce NGL from our base, possibly the best supply in the world,is it a surprise that other countries would want a piece of the shale?

Come on let's get real about this.  Who makes the fabric for your carharts, who makes the leather for your jacket, who makes the rubber for your tires?

there is money from almost every country coming into eastern OHIO, The good Lord has provided us with these Natural Resources, he created all things, including folks from India,China and yes even we Appalachian boys.

I have family working in Africa, Mexico and other countries is it not a free economy.  India happens to be a extremely loyal ally to America.

Carrizo will be the operator and will be a great asset to the community.

I will keep my money local, enough of it already goes to Columbus.......  Bricker & Eckler are not locals.....

Why pay 4.5% with the majority going to an out of town Law firm........

What a great team, they have worked with my consultant in Guernsey and Noble.   I would recommend them.

As was stated above by another person, please be careful when joining a group. That we must all do. Do your homework. Then do whats best for your family and yourself.

Ask some questions you already know the answer to (and they know also) and pay close attention to the answer you get. I did this several months ago at a meeting in Marietta. And, I would be ashamed to give the kind of an answer I got to anyone.

This is serious to all of us and our families. And more then anything, our future generations.

Come on let's get real about this. I'll stick with www.southernohioenergyconsultantsllc.com

Thank You............

There is a group of landowners who have formed their own group, we are called the Liberty Landowners Association. We have quite a few members from fearing township vicinity already and welcome any new ones. We have general membership meetings the second and the fourth Thursdays of each month at the Dalzell community building in Dalzell Ohio. If you would like to send me your e-mail address and I'll send you some information about Liberty Landowners Association.     Thanks, WRR   (libertylandowners@Gmail.com)

I just signed with Southeastern Ohio Landowners Association http://seohiolandowners.org/about_us.aspx after talking to Dr. Robert Chase at Marietta College;  http://www.marietta.edu/people/person_bio.php?person=c/chase_robert

...also after reading through their website and talking directly to Jennifer Garrison. SEOLA doesn't require any upfront payments and won't charge anything unless you receive payment. They seem to have a top notch crew and Jennifer's background really is impressive. They are also non-profit. AND they've been very successful with three counties already.

This is the group I'm putting my trust in.

They are getting ready to wrap up and solicite bids for Washington County so if interested I suggest you contact them very, very soon.

I agree!

what are the deal terms for the Southeastern Ohio Landowners?

Are they paying the same price for all washington county acreage?

I have some land Adams and I am trying to figure out what to do with it

Contact Jennifer Garrison. Each county is sold as a group I think and each county is going to be different as to what they end up bidding. Here's their website:

http://seohiolandowners.org/about_us.aspx

I called yesterday for more info on news and spoke to a woman named Jane who was really very helpful. Answered all my questions.

I don't know if this group is doing anything in Adams Co. But I bet they know who to contact to find a group there.

Note to people in Washinton Co., from what I understand, if you aren't in the orginal signing/agreement you probably cannot get added in later.
