In Delmar Township (about 1800' elevation) I measured 4-5". We probably got more, but it's been melting faster than it's accumulating. It just stopped snowing, and is brightening up. We never lost power.

It's the most snow we've had all winter. The only downside is that I stopped ordering hay for the animals because they were grazing. Now I have to make one big bale last until the snow is gone...I'm feeding it in the barn, 1/4 bale at a time, then they are on their own!

Hi Ann. I have been offline for many weeks now due to many problems.  Lu And I are very pleased that winter was extremely mild. Lu lost two of her toes due to an infection, "gangrene". A sliver of wood penetrated underneath her toe. It caused only minor irritation. I pulled it out and then it became infected.  Our local doctor, no names will be mentioned" hemmed and hawed around until she nearly lost more then her toes.  She is healing nicely now.

A storm like we just experienced a day or so ago would have have caused much serious difficulty if it had taken place, say like in the month of january.  We did not lose power and as far as I know no trees or limbs came down. We had about 5 inches of heavy wet snow. My only real concern was slogging through the snow to the wood pile.  We live in westfield township. I had two squash plants set out and covered with a couple of pails for protection.

Glad to hear things came out sorta ok in the end.

Did you see this discussion I posted a while back?  The link to the court case is still good.

Thank you for this link Ann. No, I had not seen it before as my internet service was terminated a few weeks earlier. I was aware of a class action against Dominion but never found the details. Never the less I am still hopeful that folks in the storage area and buffer zone will have some sort of benefit from this marcellus shale operation.

The wells being fract are coming closer and closer to our property.
