Thank you for the post and wealth of information, Micgyver. 

I also noticed in the comments of the article that they posted a link to a video explaining how hydraulic frac'ing works.  It's a GREAT video for dummies (me) to better understand the process.

Hello I hope this helps ,there is a lot of questions on what truly happens and comes from the ngl's and this seemed to be a very informative article .

I did read if the ngl's are very good it pays better than straight oil . With the prices received for the propane,butanes and even the natural gasoline  and ethane uses as a feedstock for ethylene production can make it very valuable over dry gas .
