I'm looking for some lease activity in Elk County to compare with what I've been offered. Right out of the gate, the landman offered $2000 and 12.5%. Any comparisons out there?

Here goes! The checks going into my bank account come directly from the state's teacher retirement funds, and Social Security.
Being retired is great in that I get to spend my time as I choose.! Even sharing all the drilling info I've gleaned over the years (birth - present) is a choice. I've been extremely fortunate to have great teachers ... from Dad, to his crews, to the people @ Penn State's Marcellus Center for Outreach & Research. After all what good is knowledge if it's not put to work?

New question, I have a Snyder/Markham lease in place without shut-in rights. Now EQT wants shut-in rights. Does anyone have any competitive data for $ I should request? Any other cautions?
