Work began this week on the driveway, actual pad preparation expected in late May or early June once the city water main running along Neville Rd is extended to the site.

jenkins unit on beaver county recorder of deeds now  -- yesterday saw stakes across street cody well in field ? will there be another one?

No water tankers or sand trucks were travelling on Neville Rd today, maybe the earth moving for the Jenkins pad is complete. If there are stakes in place across Engle Rd from the Cody Trust pad, perhaps a connecting line is planned there. I see a drilling rig is now set up at Cody but heard no reports of new permits in Industry.

A third drilling permit was issued for the Jenkins site on 4/24, I was surprised to see that this permit is specified for Marcellus - not Utica. I should have a plat by Monday afternoon.

Got the Jenkins plat #3 this morning and yes, it's for Marcellus. Maybe the two wells in Industry found very slim pickings in the Utica.

sorry, wrong subject.

Finally, some action at the  Jenkins Pad. There is now a guard shanty and gate at the top of the driveway. This morning I saw at least one bright yellow water trailer and several residual waste tankers going up Neville Rd as I was leaving for work. I hope they drill soon so Neville Rd can be milled back to it's original height and my flood prone front yard and driveway will once again drain onto the road.

I ran into one of the guards for jenkins. I asked her during what phase do they guard the site and when is there just a closed gate? She said she follows the drilling rig so thats whats going on up there. I didnt see it from the road but didnt look to hard. I asked where to next she said that rig going out of state . Allen i do not see them being "done" there for awhile. If they are only doing one leg (experimental) at a time perhaps you should contact brighton township or chesapeake about getting some yard drains installed .

There's nothing that can be seen from Neville Rd aside from the guard shanty and sound abatement walls. Today, many loads of drilling pipe was hauled up to the pad and three or four water trucks made repeat trips all day, maybe I'll try to raise one of the drivers on the CB tomorrow and inquire of what the progress is. In any event there's no rig number posted anywhere. About the road issue,  berm erosion is occurring and yes, the township is quite aware of that.

#245 rig was hauled up to Jenkins today, at least one mobile home too.

Today CHK is packing up # 245 rig, a Hodges truck driver told me the rig is next going to the WALL pad in New Galilee.

Around 5:00 pm I saw parts of the rig get off of 376 (old rt. 60) at chippewa and head West towards Ohio....then I had to turn for lack of time to follow.

Thanks for the info, was wondering where it was headed to.

Jenkins is not getting frac'd until next year when the water line extension is due to be implemented. Maybe by then there will be something in the works about a collecting line for the three new wells in Brighton and Industry.
