A lot of us received a email from Des recently updating us of what he has been doing .

He commented on the rumors that are swirling about the new wells that Gulf Port 

has  released there initial production showing the BEST #'s I have yet .

Des told us in his email that this is FOLKLORE , who is telling the truth ????

Des , did you see this report that Gulf Port released on there Wagner well ?

If not here it is --- This is CEO James Palm of Gulf Port words ---------

In 2012, we shifted from acquisition to drilling mode. We've drilled five wells and currently have two wells drilling, one well fracing, three wells in the resting period and our first well was recently brought on production. Given the sample data we've collected thus far we are now in a position to provide production results on our Wagner 1-28 well, as well as some initial data points from our ongoing testing and resting program on three other wells. Our Wagner 1-28H well which was drilled through a total vertical depth of 8,673 feet and with 8,143 foot horizontal lateral was completed with the 28-stage type hybrid hydraulic frac treatment. The well was brought online in early August. Test at a peak growth rate of 17.1 million cubic feet per day of gas and 432 barrels per day of condensate.

Based upon composition analysis, the gas being produced is 1,214 BTU rich gas. Assuming full ethane recovery, this will produce 110 barrels of NGLs per million cubic feet of gas, resulting in the gas shrink of 18% and a total rate of 4,650 barrels of oil equivalent per day. In ethane rejection mode, this composition would produce 41 barrels of NGLs per million cubic feet of gas of natural gas, resulting in a gas shrink of 8% and a total rate of 3,755 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

      Yes it has been a while since our last contact, but things have been ultra quiet in the market place. That changed about a week or so ago. Reports have been swirling about the new wells drilled in Belmont to the west of the county and in Monroe just NW of Lewisville. Reports of 4000 barrels of oil a day and the best well ever drilled in the state or better yet the Greysville well is better than the Buell well are all tales worthy of folklore. They are though utterly and totally false. 

Well you were right Des it wasn't 4000 bbl it was only 3,755 bbls  and the  gas climbed to 

17.1 mcc within a few hours .. Those dirty lying people at Gulf Port .

It looks to me like it's that Ole FOLKLORE thing again !
