It is my understanding that Shell is having an informational meeting at the Whitneyville Fairgrounds.  Not sure of the time.  It was listed in the Mansfield Pennysaver and I have already lined the bird cage with mine.

When the gas drilling first started for real back in 2009 or so, the companies all said that natural gas prices had to be above $4 for it to be profitable. Right now it's around $3.50 at Henry Hub. That's better than it's been, but still not very good. Not many companies will charge ahead when they are losing money. As Paleface said, they can afford to wait for reasonable prices.

It will be better in the long run to recieve royalty at $5.00 than to have a unit drained at $3.00. so let them hold back...

I guess we will sit without a lease for a few years unless something changes.
