Jennifer Garrison had a meeting in Center Township and I'm thinking of signing with her. I have reservations, and I'm looking for some info on her and her O/G Leases. It seems like everyone is avoiding Center Township like the Plague and here she comes promising results.

Thank You!

I have not had any dealings with her group but the people in the river front group that I have talked to seemed to be very happy with their results.  I believe part of the reason for the stand off in Center twp. has to do with all the Beck leases and the ongoing court battle.  Good luck.

Speaking of the Beck debacle, does anyone know where things stand with that?

Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info. That's what I think as well.

Garrison is simply trying to lock folks into her fee agreement to ensure her a payday when XTO comes knocking after the 1st of the year and/or when the Beck/XTO case is resolved. Center is about the only place it is wide open in Monroe after Antero, Eclipse & Consol closing on other townships. Why pay her a huge part of your bonus, look how many individuals, small & large group have gotten better deals (more money same area) then her without paying a fee.

Where is XTO acquiring land?  Does anyone know what companies are looking at the Washington/Monroe border area?

Hunter, do you know if Western Green is involved in the Beck/XTO case?

Arco, I dont know if this will help, but Beck Leased 6500 Acres in Center and 4300 in Green plus countless of other acres in different townships. I believe that this will keep XTO on the side lines until they see what happens with the lawsuit. If Beck loses, other people might decide to sue and get a better deal then Becks lease. Which of course wont be difficult to do!

Hunter, Thanks for the information.I need to fine a group, or see if anyone is interested in starting one?
.

Jennifer Garrison and local Attorneys are after one thing....$$$$$!  There is enough info on this site for  you to learn enough to negotiate yourself a good deal without their help.  Do the research, save.

EMLO got $5250 up front and 115% on renewal for East Adams and East Green with a good sounding lease.  Perhaps the money is there if they want you and maybe they write the leases accordingly.  Agree the Beck/XTO deal is affecting West Green and Center.  Is there any news on that class action suit?  Factual news that is!

Olive Sue you got good money. Bo boboski I totally agree that the lawyers are after money, and are being very picky about even the oil and gas issues they will work on .And they all have turned into o&g experts overnight and they definately aren't.

Now that said I have a Garrison lease on small acerage and have reread the lease several times; have talked with someone in Washington Co with large acerage and we both always come back to the fact that Garrison writes a very good lease, more than 20 pages on mine.  I'm satisfied as the lease language is a very important part, it is not all about the money.  Actually, after I read it I say, what a smart woman.  Let's also remember that Brickler and Eckler and the petroleum engineer professor at Marietta College probably got some of the money, too.

The Beck/XTO issue:  it is in the appeal process and appeals take time, much time.  It will not be an easy solution.   Yes, I would agree it is affecting drilling activity in much of Monroe.    Does anyone know the status of the XTO well that was to be drilled on Gehrig in Center township on some Beck lease?
