Last I heard - Shell was/is still leasing and paying but everything seems to be real slow at this point. As far as drilling? Not sure and have heard very little. Curious as well - anyone?

"No waiting" or Now waiting? Shell was offering 3250/18%/5yr with option to renew for same payment. Same terms for your lease or has it changed? This is with no deductions. I believe Cathie is from Clay as well and I am to. So hope they get all of Clay leased up and start drilling.

Can you post contact information for Shell that you signed with? Are there any people forming groups in the area? We have almost 200 acres that we are looking to lease.

Just got word - Shell cancelled our lease on May 25 as my wife called today. Total bs to string people along and feed them a bunch of bs. Hopefully they aren't going to do this to everyone but I know we are in and surrounded by other Shell signers and yet to be paid land owners. Was hoping for the best and expected the worse after reading and hearing others from this board and area. Not sure who your land man was but the guy that signed us was Jim Whiteford or something of that nature. I haven't called anyone as of yet and will do so and see if I can get more answers but my wife said they were short and robotic with canceled and no reason given.

100% positive we have the rights. Just got word from another guy I know that just because the banks drafts expire doesn't mean Shell canceled lease. With it being budget time and they/Shell are backed up from what I was just told they can't get to the title searches in time so they just re-issue another 30 day draft. Who knows I will keep everyone updated on what I find out as I have a couple of calls in. Was just told Shell is in Butler still and have no intentions on pulling out so hopefully they are just behind and will re-issue another draft. I am a big supporter of NG and hope they drill and develop the infrastructure to get the gas transported. Property is on rt8 just before 138.

It is probably Jim Burfurd. That is who we dealt with and he has been great with us. We signed Dec. 2, took our bank draft to the bank in late December (we forgot to get it from him at signing so got it from him a few weeks later....we had only taken the copy of the draft and not the original). We got our copy of recorded lease and our full bonus payment last week....approx 90 banking days from when we took our bank draft to the bank. Hope that everything goes ok with you and that the bank draft will be honored. They have been swamped, and things run behind, but they did pay us as promised. Good luck!

New well being drilled I-79 mile marker 102.6 just south of Slippery Rock exit. Can be seen from I-79.

The Drake wells numbers are posted on the PA dep reporting page - two of the wells have the same number = 1226.04 bbl and one 1226.03 bbl. Is that common? is that alot for 84 days?

i just rec'd a well location plat showing a vertical well application in Marcellus to 5665 ft. and located at Renick x-mas tree farm off rt 308 on Rider church road,to be drilled by Swepti.
