anyone know of any group leases in guernsey

does anyone know of any active group leases in guernsey county I live in the Cambridge area and have yet to lease my land I have talked to shell and was told they are getting ready to have their 2013 budget and was interested but I think there is more strength in nmbers than going it alone thatnks for reading any infromation would be great!

I live in cambridge near the reservoir 20 acres talked to shell and they said they were getting ready to go back in to leasing  they were getting their 2013 budget together.

I know of one group of neighboring landowners that formed a group in the the northwest quadrandt of Cambridge Twp.  I believe they currently have about 2500 acres committed. In addition, the law firm KWGD out of Canton has a landowner group for the "western" townships of Guernsey County.  The group has been in existence since the Fall of 2012.  As of yet, no offers have come its way but they are still trying to market the acreage.  How many acres have you and where is the acreage located in the Cambridge area?

I'm afraid the mass signing/big landowner group type signings may be over for this area. All the O&G co.s  seem to have  leased  their large acteages, each defining their own core area. they seem to have spaced out their "territories". Some have,or presently drilling in their "areas". Some have already bought out leases from others who were in their area. Case in point; EQT seems to want to drill multible wells in the soutwestern part of guernsey,so they bought leases off Gulfport who doesnt want to drill there.  I figure from now on, these drillers will just call,or knock on doors of the landowners that arent leased yet to complete their drilling units. So you may be waiting a while,maybe not. On a good note, when they do show up at your door, they will be needing you! And should pay a good price. Just be ready to know what a good price is,and what a good lease shouild look like.   Keep reading on this site,you should obtain most of the knowledge you"ll need.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't some large landowner group named Oxford just sign with Eclipse Resources?  Isn't there a second landowner group named Enervest that is in multiplte negotiations with several companies concerning its acreage?  I've even heard a third group run by a guy named Devon that is trying to market a large block in Guernsey and sorrounding counties.

does anyone have a name or number of these groups we are in the middle of 300 and a little over 200 acres that have singed that would conect the properties I am thinking we are a missing link sorta speak

The KWGD landgroup for western Guernsey County canbe reached at 330-497-0700.  The landgroup my neighbors and I have formed for Cambridge Twp.is being brokered by Ben Schafer Realty in Caldwell.  They can be reached at 740-305-5054.
