Has any one heard that this well was going to be turned in to a horizonal well? SOEC says PDC is leasing more ground in area and they just annouced they are going to drill 11 total wells on their leases, thats 6 more than already annouced.

Also said they were spending 7 million more on leases.

They  need to get this to St.Rt. 83 .. it's a great potential well.  They're signing as many landowners as possible in the area.  Our test well gave them the science they needed to invest their time & money in the area.  I don't claim to have a clue what their "test scale" is based on, but from what we've been told other test wells they have drilled are scoring from 8-10, and this one scored 13, said "it has it all".  Right now, it's just sitting here with pressure on it.  It's held great pressure all this time.  Hoping to put it into production Summer/Fall.  And yeah, they're wanting to drill more sites around here.  Hope it works out for everyone!

Ha ha Michael, no problem - but we realize all I did was tell ya'll what you already knew ;)  And I guess just to be a smarta$$ I should add for all those people out there who are all about the money ----- WE got a tax return! ha ha ... Wise investments in the future of our boys & our farm by turning our farm income & well income into tax deductions.  Who's a happy camper about that? ME!!  ;)

Thanks for sharing Teri,

My place is about 7 miles due west of yours as the crow flies.  Although the crow would have to cross the river 3 times to get here.  I signed with PDC almost 2 years ago. (for not much $)  I’m kinda hoping it takes them 3 more years to get here.  Seems like nat. gas prices can only go up and I‘d like a chance to renegotiate.   But, your right, it’s not about the money.  If my kids and grand kids get some benefit from all this, that’s fine with me.  By the way, I might need the name of your tax accountant.

The good news is, we have put up over 35 gallons of good Morgan County maple syrup so far this spring.  This is probably the last week of this year’s season.  A lot better than last year.

Gary,PDC has announced the Maxwell well to be drilled after the Garvin well, (Lowell) . It appears from the map Ive seen,to be NW from Palmer well across river about 4 miles.

I ment SW from Palmer

PDC changed name of well from Maxwell to Neill on new map.see my post on PDC map

We didn't sign our lease for a Kings Randsome either Gary .. but see how far we've come!  With their well pad and the relandscaping (as I like to think of it) of our pasture field, we now have a level spot to build a new Equipment Shed that we've been needing.  TY PDC for the gravel drive in front of the new shed!! ha ha .. Funny how things work out right?  I hope it takes them 3 years to get back there too, if it's in your best interest.  As far as our Tax Accountant, ha ha, she's the only one I trust to do our taxes because they are Agriculturalists also and have had a productive orchard for many years.  She keeps up with all the in's ans out's of the tax laws so I don't have to break out my Accounting Degree and actually use it anymore than is necessary.  Maple syrup YUM!! Congrats on this being a better year for it than last year!!!!

Thanks for sharing, Teri! That's great news!

No problem.  They have been out here swabbing the well for the past 3 days.... it's kept all it's pressure.

wonderful! I hope it turns out to be a boomer!
