Help Research DUX Petroleum LLC

We have been unable to find much information about DUX Petroleum LLC, a company offering to lease land in Washington County, Ohio.

It occurred to us that if we asked members of gomarcellusshale to help search, together we could learn more.

Please help search and post what ever you find.

The website for DUX Petroleum LLC is: http://duxpetro.com/ but there are no links of any kind - no telephone number or address, no "about us" links or any other information.

A search on corporationwiki.com lead to this link:

From them we learned that:

DUX Petroleum LLC was founded 10/25/12

It has a single member: Adam Popejoy

Its principle address is: 4403 48th St., Lubbock, TX 79414-3601

Because DUX Petroleum LLC is so new there is very little information about it. The only option may be to search for more information about Adam Popejoy and any of the companies he is associated with,

Can we perhaps return to the subject of the thread which is "Help Research Dux Petroleum, LLC"? Nobody including Drill Baby, Michael Householder, Attorney John Wells, or Malinda Carlton have posted one scintilla of evidence that DUX is a legitimate O&G exploration and production company. Dux's website says that they adhere to the highest standards, operate in 20 states and have 55 years of experience. However, the company appears to have no telephone number. You heard me correctly, the company appears to have no telephone number. SIMPLY UNBELIEVABLE!!

Once again, a thread hijacked by the dynamic duo.  I confess my posts have been in response to these idiots (GG and Frank), but these two are a serious detriment to those seeking relevant information on the issues that affect those in the "shale".   I have some personal experience in dealing with leasing issues, including ROW's, surface rights, Pugh clause language, temporary storage, Clean and Green, no deduction language, liability of the GC, among others.  I would be willing to share what I've experienced, but , until the admin corrals these two, it's gotta occur in a more private setting.  Any meaningful nugget of pertinent or valuable information that MIGHT be posted by these two, is lost in the copious amounts of NONSENSE that they subject everyone to. There are, I think, a tremendous amount of people who are seeking information, who do not currently have the time and/or financial resources to hire someone, that would benefit from these forums, without the sheer BS posted by these two.

EVERYONE, DO *Join the party...any questions for Tioga to help anyone with? Anyone?...well, when you think of one for her,  since I know this is quite surprising knowledge...she'll be waiting....she is an asset waiting to help YOU!...

OH, if an individual has a 'small plot of ground' that probably won't end up being drilled...would it possibly be best to sign only a *NON-SURFACE USE agreement so that you don't get turned into a 'storage site', place to park trucks or just employee parking lot...+ much much more...not end up being used for a 'storage holding area'? +++

...how about limitations on WHEN 'trucks & laborers' can enter and then need to exit the property? *work is to be conducted from' x-y', *no property can be occupied at any time with exception of 'work' time (NO hunting/fishing/recreation or 'trespassing')...oh, it's been a while since I dealt with these issues, so I'm not nearly as much help as I'm sure you'll aid individuals with.

Limitations of 'holidays' & various times for 'privacy sake' (so trucks aren't there then - or labor)? Tioga...WHAT ARE some of the 'general limitations' that most persons 'MISS'...based on your experience? Maybe THAT would help open up a line of questions?...WELL, you now have the floor...thank you for all that you share to help others.

As I said, too easy.  Once again, hijacked. You seem to bring up again your issues of inadequacy, GG.  If you can help with all of those issues you stated, go ahead.  I prefer to offer anything I have experienced through more private means, so you two do not intrude with your "knowledge". 

You assume too much, thinking that your experiences are the be all and end all of those issues. Do you think you are the only person who might be able to share their experience?  You seem almost jealous that anyone might have something to add.  Interesting...

I don't discount your experiences, however, you obfuscate them in layers of nonsense, you tube links, misspellings, and anger.

Frank needs no advice, he's the "richest guy in the room", lol

I called it my "experience", Frank, not my expertise.  Don't feel so threatened.  My "old news" may have value to those not currently leased, and those whose leases are ready to expire. If you really knew anything, you would realize that these are present day issues. No, you just brag about your "greenbacks" which tells me you really don't have that many.

I MUST say - I sincerely hope that Frank IS the 'richest man in the room'...but one must try to contemplate exactly what 'being rich' is...as far as I'm concerned - leave the muck in the ground. It's all just a mess of decay & destruction. Give me a good book, a class painting, a museum visit, the sound of a tree falling? (shh...did YOU hear it?), +.
