Not hearing much about Halcon, how are they doing in Trumbull and Mahoning counties?

On the north or south side of the road?

Was a permit issued for the Housel Craft Road well?  I don't see anything on ODNR's website.

Trumbull County isn't looking too good.  BP and Mountaineering will slow/stop drilling plans.  Halcon is doing its peacock act to boost interest in flipping their position.

Ya snort,

The whole thing is a gigantic "bust".  Absolutely no money to be made here.  O/G just like to throw away money on leases and wells before they know anything about the play.  Thanks for the post.  Seismics were being done over two tears ago in trumbull.  Some were repeated - just to make sure results were real.

I wouldn't call it a bust, just not economic right now.  Costs are high.  NGL prices have tanked.  Obama won't allow any permits for LNG pant construction for exports.  There are hydrocarbons in the shale but it's not the sweet spot.

Snort, Would you kindly explain your comment  !!

BP went from planning a few wells to a dozen.  If you think that Halcon is going to fake their way to a sale you have zero concept of how this business works.

Sell your Mineral rights Folks! The whole thing is a bust in our area!   They will never drill in our lifetime and/or there is nothing down there worth a hoot!  Take a break from this BS and go have fun with frank dux and fang on their frackivist thread for a while.  O/G did not spend $$$$$$$ just to create a few pads and drill a few wells on a hunch!  There are many people and corporations on here that want to disinform you of what lies beneath your feet.  Sit back and watch it unfold my friends.

Friend told me it was on National Public Radio drilling down program that the Kibler well is to begin testing today.  Does anyone know anything about this?

Robert, Your friend is correct on this, Kibler well testing starts today. BTW, Halcon purchased the old 84 lumber in Heritage Pa. just off interstate 80, I believe this will be there home base.

They've got a brand new office in Cranberry Township at the "old" Westinghouse campus.  That's where their white collar jobs are currently, at least for their PA acreage.

Marcus - are you are referring to CX Energy?...or Halcon? (or BOTH?)

...WHO has 'new offices' in Cranberry Township @ the 'old' Westinghouse complex?

Halcon.  There's one company in this discussion between Craig and I.  Do your best to keep up.
